Final update: Read it here. Short version, at least one person got a pair of glasses, most were considered trolls/fakes. They kept all the personal information regardless.
11/29/17 Update: Someone from a yahoo.com email address reached out to me denying that their [email protected] emails didn’t work, so I sent them a screenshot of their failed support email messages. It still doesn’t work as of 11/29/17. They sent me a link to a long winded rant about how all their orders were fake or trolls, so, uh, that is why they didn’t send any free items out (yet they kept all our customer information for marketing promotions). Great relationships always start with lies. While their company might not be a scamming operation (I do think they are a real company with history), I think this promotion was a dishonest act which is the definition of a scam. Offer free item, keep personal information, never send free item. Scam.
Update: Highly doubt this will come, their emails all bounce if you try to email them. See more from this sample news update here. I’ve removed the link to their website as a result.
Note: There have been some valid concerns on our Facebook group brought up and here and at the “meh” BBB reviews for normal paid products. These small Shopify stores that offer freebies are certainly hit or miss if they come or not so I changed the title to a “Possible” freebie.-John ‘Samples’ Clark
