3. Download and open the iOS app here or Android app.
4. From here you’ll need to enter your personal information and verify it. This is where they need your social security number. They may do a soft pull of your Experian credit report to verify your identity and according to Experian, this will not affect your credit score.
5. Once you have created your account, click on the “My Free Stock” tab, then click the “Get It Now” button which will take you to start a new brokerage account. After you create your brokerage account you’ll have to wait a few hours or days. Mine took 4 days to approve.
