FREE Lyft Rides for Job Seekers (Select Cities Only)

Here’s a wonderful initiative. Lyft has partnered with Indeed’s Essentials to Work Program, United Way and Goodwill to offer free Lyft rides to help you get to a job if you are eligible and live in an eligible city. Each credit is worth $30, and you should contact your local Goodwill to ensure the availability of credits. Additionally, specific Goodwill sites will now offer rides for criminal record-expungement services as well as to pick up internet hotspots donated by Indeed.

Please note: To obtain a transportation credit, you must fit one of the three qualifications, including needing transportation to a job interview, weeklong training or to your first two weeks of a new job, as well as needing to meet any career and/or employment service criteria outlined by your local Goodwill. Also note that free rideshare, bike, or scooter rides are only available in certain cities to those who qualify.
How to get your free ride:
- Visit the company’s website by clicking “Get This Offer (External Website)”.
- Check to see if these rides are available in your city.
- Hit “Get Started” to see if you are eligible.
- Then follow the prompts to contact your local Goodwill for your free credits!
