FREE Meals For Kids This Summer From USDA Program

There are a slew of free meal programs for kids when school is in session, but what about when summer is in session? No so much. Luckily, the USDA has a summer program this year where you can text “FOOD” to 877-877 will give you a nearby location where free meals are available for children during the summer or you can just visit the interactive map below. Note: The interactive map may work better, I texted the number and I got locations in Puerto Rico which was a bit far from New York City.

How to get free meals for children:
- Visit the companies website by clicking “Get This Offer (External Website)”
- Hit “Find Sites” on the upper right hand of the map. Then enter your zip code or address to find a location near you. Then click on a location to see the schedule for the free meals.
- You may also text “FOOD” to 877-877 to get locations near you.
