Freebie hunters, take note of a fake offer that at first glance appears to be from Texas Roadhouse/ CEO Gerald L Morgan offering free Christmas Buckets containing vouchers and more. This offer is not legitimate – it’s not from Roadhouse!

The URL is contained in the photo for reference but DO NOT FOLLOW THE BITLY LINK.
Please note: A whole lot of wonderful readers reported the scam and got it taken down from Facebook – thank you! However, it’s good to know that the URL for this scam sometimes changes but the scam stays the same and it usually involves a sites.google.com URL.
Why I know this one is fake:
- First and most importantly, Roadhouse themselves have called out this offer for being a scam.
- If you add a “+” after any bitly link, it will show where the link will take you, and it’s 100% not any official Texas Roadhouse website.
- The URL the giveaway brings up an Indonesian phrase halaman-muka which is connected to other scam sites which were called out on Google forums.
As usual with fake freebies, avoid them! If you see them on other websites, do not sign up. Signing up with these kinds of sites can mean you get spam mail, spam emails, sketchy links from fake PayPal/Amazon/other websites, and worst case scenario – can fall victim to identity theft. Don’t trust links that ask for your password or any personal information, ever. Thank you for reading my fake freebie rant. You can see other fake alerts or freebie updates here as well.
