7 Places to Get FREE Coffees For New Years Eve & New Year’s Day

There is free coffee all over the nation for New Year’s Eve and New Years Day. Perfect to ramp you up to stay awake for that special hour and keep you awake if you are ‘struggling’ the day after. Here are all the spots giving out free coffee (mostly in select locations).

Where to get free coffee:
- Starbucks See if one of the daily Starbuck locations giving out free tall expresso drinks from 1PM to 2PM through New Years Eve, see if there is one near you here.
- Sheetz Sheetz has free drip coffee from 4PM on New Year’s Eve until 4PM on New Year’s Day. More information here and locations here.

- Cumberland Farms They have free coffee every year on New Year’s Eve from 5pm through New Year’s Day until 5am. See store locations here.

- Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise is promoting free coffee safety breaks from 11 PM on Dec. 31 to 6 AM on Jan. 1, and 11 PM Jan. 1 to 6 AM on Jan. 2. During these periods, drivers can enjoy a complimentary pick-me-up at the Shell c-stores or the lobbies of Turkey Lake, Canoe Creek, Fort Drum, Fort Pierce and West Palm Beach Restaurant Plazas.
- Illinois Tollway As part of its annual tradition, the Illinois Tollway is inviting drivers to visit 7-Eleven and McDonald’s locations at Tollway stops for a free small cup of coffee. Most locations will offer coffee from 9 PM on Dec. 31 to 6 AM on Jan. 1.
Free coffee is available at the Belvidere Oasis on Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90); The Lake Forest Oasis, O’Hare Oasis, Hinsdale Oasis and Chicago Southland Lincoln Oasis on Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294/I-80); and the DeKalb Oasis on Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88).
